Zombie games are always fun no matter if you are a twelve-year-old kid or an adult with kids of your own. The thrill that comes with drilling into the brainless skulls of these creepy man-eating machines is just out of this world.

One name that outshines all others in this blood-lusty genre is Left 4 Dead. It is hands down, one of the most loved and popular zombie games of all time. So much so that it’s been over a decade but the game still enjoys the company of a loyal fan base. However, there is a new zombie game in town that might just get crowned as the BEST.

Yes! I am talking about Back 4 Blood and coming from the creators of Left 4 Dead, my hopes are already sky-high for the game. Although the game is still in Beta, the hype around it just keeps blowing off! But is Back 4 blood really worth all this hype? Let’s find out:

Back 4 Blood Beta

Let’s first talk about what players have to say about the Beta and while we are talking about it, we need to bear in mind that it’s still “a Beta”. So, the very first thing that I noticed about the game is the visuals, and to be honest, it looks kinda left 4 dead-y types of visuals with some obvious improvements of course. It kinda feels nostalgic when you first get into the game and Personally, I think it’s important that the developers use the success formula that made Left 4 Dead so popular in the first place.

The second thing that I loved the most about the game is the weapon choices, I mean you can literally find any weapon that you could imagine, and on top of that, there are a ton of attachments that even work across most of the weapons, which is not seen in any of the FPS games out there. You can literally put a sniper scope on a pistol, which although a little weird makes for great customization when it comes to the shooting part of the game.

And speaking of which, the developers have done a GREAT job at giving each of the weapons their own unique characteristics. And this is very important because otherwise, the game would feel kind of generic with most of the weapons behaving exactly the same way.

Five more weeks to its official launch! Can’t wait for the shitshow of Riddens swarming in.
